The pathway for young people in the Franciscan network of the Mediterranean is curated by OIKOS Mediterraneo, the Franciscan Center for Integral Ecology of the Mediterranean.

The aim is to build a vision of the Mediterranean as the common home of all peoples.
We have activated several courses:
– BEYOND THE WALLS from April 10th to 14th in Florence: we convened 15 young people from 9 Mediterranean countries during the Francesco Live event. We conducted a workshop based on the dream of Francis of Assisi and Giorgio La Pira. We addressed various topics: the art of listening, the fears of others that paralyze us, integral ecology, and the new economy.

– Summer school INTRECCI DI SPERANZE from July 25th to 31st in Taranto, for 50 young people (aged 18 to 30) from the Mediterranean who will have the opportunity to interact with 20 professors from various universities of the Mediterranean (Paris, Nice, Barcelona, Milan, Rome, Bari, Loppiano, Al-Azhar…).
